A very nice way to kick off the month was a treated trip to a fabulous Sushi Restaurant based in the heart of Quesada with my besties Lynn & Billy for lunch.. #spoiltbrat I know..
We opted for the menu del dia which was a mixture of most things on the menu. There are a few different menu del dias to chose from and next time I would probably go for the assorted sushi platter to share.
Its too hard to chose though and you really do want everything.
The food was amazing and the service 100%.
If you love sushi like we do then you really do have to try this place.

ROCK AGAINST CANCER was here again this time in Antonio Soria Park - Torrevieja and BIG FM was there to keep the crowd going before and in between each rock band.
Rock Against Cancer is a rock festival tribute to all those affected by cancer.
An evening of good music and friends joining the cause.
This is an annual charity event where funds are raised in favor of the Spanish association against cancer. They have live music by some amazing bands coming from all over.

On a very sad note in this month we lost our Queen of England..
Queen Elizabeth II, the UK's longest-serving monarch, died at Balmoral aged 96, after reigning for 70 years.
She died peacefully at her Scottish estate, where she had spent much of the summer.
The Queen came to the throne in 1952 and witnessed enormous social change.
Her son King Charles III said the death of his beloved mother was a "moment of great sadness" for him and his family and that her loss would be "deeply felt" around the world.
He said: "We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished sovereign and a much-loved mother.
The Queen's funeral was AMAZING!!
I'm not really a Royalist, but my god its definately only our Country, Great Britain, that could be that Great in coming together and doing what they do best as a Country. Our Queen was one amazing gorgeous lady.

Now THE Spanish Wedding of the year was most definately THE hightlight of September for me. Congratulations to our gorgeous Lydia (Big Fm Team) who married her childhood sweetheart Joan Marc in the most amazing venue situated in the heart of Elche.
First of all myself and mi marido checked into the sister hotel of the wedding venue,
Hotel Port Jardin Milenio.. And what a beautiful hotel it was too.
Our room was overlooking the pool. The restaurant situated by the side of the pool was lovely. Service and food bang on. Breakfast in the morning was in the hotel. Serve yourself and they had everything you could ask for. I definately recommend this hotel.
We dined in the restaurant which was situated outside by the pool.
Menu del Dia was very different than ones we have had before.
A very rich menu of very different tapas.
All really good apart from the last one with the fried egg on it. Even mi marido couldnt eat that one and he will definately eat anything. Everyone to their own taste of course.

A fantastic day had by all.
Only just managed to catch my breath and it was Fiesta time in my own village of San Miguel. With it not being on over the last few years it was a fantastic turn out.
The whole village and more was there. Great to see it so busy and everyone making a massive effort.
After the parade the party carried on until 6am!

BIG FM IS 10 YEARS OLD!
Last but definately not least was BIG FM'S CHARITY BALL.. After all the work myself and the gorgeous married Lydia did for it, the night was a HUGE success. Thanks to all our sponsors, donators, helpers and of course ticket buyers. Not to mention the hard work all the staff at our chosen venue did La Finca Resort.
