June brought Madness, Madness they call it Madness and how excited was I to get tickets, AAA tickets at that! #bragbrag
Now I have met and interviewed many an artist and bands over the years and have been hankering after Madness for god knows how long. Finally I got there, here in Spain after all that..

Couldn't have watched them in a better venue..
It was Amazing.
The bullfight arena was built in 1885.
It was then the largest of its kind in the country.
It can seat 15,000 people, and the arena itself, where the shows are held, is 53 m in diameter.
Various cultural events, including concerts, are organized here.
It was a great atmosphere.
Rocking from beginning to end.
So to compare concerts here in Spain to the UK, I honestly found it a lot more relaxed. The office staff, door staff and floor staff were fantastic and could not do enough for you.
Ok I had AAA passes so was swanning around back stage etc.. but I had other friends there with normal tickets who said the same. Fantastic gig!
Of course I accosted the guys backstage for a little chat.
Awww they were very tired boys having done Madrid the night before and I think they partied a bit too much. #bandlife #Madness

OUTSIDE BROADCASTS ARE BACK!!
Its great to be able to set up outside again bringing you LIVE Radio together with Live entertainment.
So it was my very first time I was allowed, by the boss man himself, to setup and do the outside broadcast all my myself. Eeeeeek!!
After all the nerves making sure everything was set up right and we went LIVE bang on time it was a fantastic day of fun at Tommy's Bar based in the heart of Benimar.
Big charity day for underpriviledged families in the Benijofar area and WOW they raised a massive 3000euros. #outsidebroadcast #liveradio #TommysBar
Well done to each and everyone of you that turned up, it was a sell out, and to all the staff that worked very very hard to keep everyone fed and watered.

You know Summer is definately here when they open the Municipal Pools in the villages. San Miguel's pool is amazing. 2euros for all day and you can take your own food and drinks.
It opens from 10-2pm and then again from 4-8pm.
All you have to do is download the app Sporttia... https://app.sporttia.com/search
Find your municipality and there you go. You can book any activity they do including the swimming.
Try and get there early if you want a good swim before all the kiddies arrive during Summer School. You have no chance of getting a swim for a few hours.
Nice to get out and about on foot too!!
Must be crazy but yep I have been walking along the campo and along the beaches, in this heat!!
We have some gorgeous scenery & beaches out there.
Campoamor, Costa Blanca. Playa Flamenca, Orihuela Costa. Beach Cabo Roig. Mil Palmeras
And i'm not lying look at that temperature!! "phew"
We also managed a menu del dia up at our Castle this month..
Food as usual was lush..
A beautiful setting if you have never been. Just watch out for those cockerals!!
