Well its the end of January already. Where the hell has that month gone?

Unlike the UK we are still allowed to go out and about here. But as of the last couple of weeks the bars & restaurants have been closed down until at least 15th February, rumour has it that it will be longer than that before they can open up again. Its very sad for the businesses and some of them won't make it through this nitemare. Same as in the UK of course. Hence why we have to support our local businesses. Most of our local bars and restaurants here in San Miguel are now doing take-aways including a full menu del dia. I also managed to get out and about visiting a few beaches in the area as we have had some glorious days in January.

All in all, even with the new restrictions, we can't meet up with friends now for the foreseeable, January has not been too bad a month.
Wonder what February will bring?
A lockdown Valentines day that's for sure..
My thoughts and cyber hugs go out to all my friends and family in the UK who I miss bigtime.
