The wheels on the bus go round and round as myself & mi amigos decided to jump on it to go to an amazing Sushi restaurant we had been told about. Hanaki on the outskirts of Torrevieja.
We caught the bus just around the corner from where we live and can you believe you don't have to stick your arm out.
Timetable for the buses are on every bus stop. And yes it was ontime.
We clambered onto a very posh, sparklingly clean autobus for 1.55euros one way.
How cheap is that?
Dropped us right outside the restaurant which took about 20mins to get there as the bus stops at Torrevieja hospital on route to Torrevieja.
Well worth every penny will definately be doing another bus journey again soon.

Hanika is situated just round the corner from Santa Maria Bar where we had time to have a drink overlooking the sea and listening to live music. Great little bar and the entertainment was good BUT they must have hacked up the prices for summer as the Strongbow was 4.50euros a can. WOW that is one helluva mark up. I know because I buy cans for home from the wholesalers and they are under a euro a can. Come on Santa Maria don't be greedy. #SantaMaria #BeachBar #Torrevieja #Strongbow
Where to start with Hanaki Restaurant?
This is one amazing Japanese restaurant serving all you can eat whatever you desire from the menu. Being Sushi lovers we went for that. Lunch is open from 12noon to 4.30pm thats a lot of food you can fit in, and we did.
Couldn't even tell you what we had but everything was absolutely delicias. #Sushi #Saki #Robot #Japanese

I was down with the kids this month having the privilege of being asked to DJ alongside their piano concert at the Musical Union right in the heart of San Miguel de Salinas.
What a great night we all had.
The children aged from 6yrs to 16yrs played a piano piece while their teacher the lovely Fran, mixed some electro tunes into it.
I was informed that it was towards their music exams.
I was really chuffed to be involved and they all did a fantastic job WELL DONE! #localschool #childrenourfuture
Dropping a friend off at the airport I decided to drive a different way back to see what I could see along the scenic route. I came across this gorgeous park. Parque El Palmeral, Avinguda d'Elx, 109, 03008 Alacant, Alicante. Situated on the N332.
What a beautiful little park it is too.
I was very impressed. Looks like the rain we had has done a bit of damage as there was quite a bit of repairs going on but other than that its a lovely place to walk around and there is a cafe where you can sit for a drink and bite to eat. There are also areas where you take a picnic. Crazy what you find on the side of a road overlooking the sea eh? Definately stop and check it out if your passing that way.
My very special amigo Don had a birthday so yes of course we had to celebrate.
I took him to the lovely Casa Pili, Los Montesinos.
A very traditional cosy Spanish Restaurant. As usual the food was top notch and yes he had a great birthday. Thanks to our beautiful amiga Otilia.
Our community pool in San Miguel de Salinas opened late this year due to no life guards available. Shame about our community pool really because it only actually opens for approximately 12weeks. I personally think it should be open from May until it really is too cold to use. Or make it heated. Such a waste.
Anyway there are many pools attached to bars around the area to choose from. I went to the Olympia Pool in Mil Palmeras for a change.
I have actually DJ'd up there but never used the pool.
What a great day I had.
Its works out only 7.95euros for the use of the pool and a sunbed. You can get lunch & drinks and totally chill all day.

Walking through the village one early morning I came across these amazing displays on the floor. What was it all about? It was to celebrate Corpus Christie. The village did another amazing job didn't they. All this is done with coloured salt!! WOW!!
Locals come together to build ornate altars in the streets, joined by carpets of salt or the streets are strewn with fresh herbs through which the Corpus procession passes stopping at every altar for a blessing.
Had a few djing stints on this month. Another Birthday Party at Lawsons in Quesada. I love djing here everyone has such a good time and the venue is exclusive.

I DJ'd another private birthday party this time at a new venue, Layla's Bar, based up in Algorfa Resort. What a lovely friendly little bar. A great night had by all.

Claire & the Hillside team are amazing. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone is looked after.

Its far from just a snooker bar. Get going for a nosey you will be totally impressed. I will let you into a little secret now as well... I will be back at The Hillside for Halloween with a twist!!
A night away in La Mata to catch up with this one was just what was needed after all the hard work this month.
What with djing, Flying solo on BIG fm covering for holidays, outside broadcasts who said living the dream was easy?? #neverstopme
