Time for a very spoilt day starting with a fantastic few hours in one of the most amazing SPA's I have had the pleasure of using a few times.
Hotel La Laguna Av. Antonio Quesada, 53, 03170 Cdad. Quesada, Alicante is the place to be if you want an afternoon of pure relaxation.
Just one problem as with everywhere at the moment because of this nitemare we are calling COVID you have to actually be staying at the hotel to use the SPA for the time being.
This really is a shame as they are losing custom, like a lot of businesses and I personally do not understand why if they adhere to the COVID rules they can't still open for the public. Keeping social distancing of course!!
Anyway they are trying their best, like everyone, and doing lots of promotions to get people to stay at the hotel and use their facilities.

Myself and my bestie Lynn had a fantastic afternoon. Once checked in bang on time 2pm and shown to our room we headed straight for the SPA - which we had booked in advance.
It was like having our very own private SPA, Turkish Baths and Pool as there was only us there for the full 90 minutes. #privatespa
The SPA was spotlessly clean. A few rules like we wasn't allowed to use the toilets due to COVID - not sure why to be honest as there was only us there and you are allowed to use toilets in restaurants and bars - so that confused us a little bit. But I am putting it down to the hotel being understaffed during these terrible times. Understaffed or not that did not stop the staff being amazing. They spoilt us rotten. So there was another very special reason we was staying at this lovely hotel. My beautiful friends Don and Irene were celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary!! Yes 50yrs!! WOW...
BUT and a very big BUT because of this nitemare pandemic the whole world is going through their spectacular party due to take place in this hotel was sadly cancelled..
Upsetting times when the party has been planned and booked for over 12months.
Don & Irene was allowed to have a very small private dinner party in the private dining room in the hotel. And the hotel did them proud.
Could not fault the service, the staff worked hard waiting on us and the food was mouthwatering!!
Don and Irene had a fantastic evening, albeit a bit quieter than it should have been, and that's all that matters really.
So I want to say A huge thank you to Hotel Laguna for looking after myself and my gorgeous Amigos. #spoilt
