Who am I and what is ‘WeLoveSpainLive” all about?
Me : I am an enthusiastic and experienced Radio Broadcaster, DJ, Promoter and, Reviewer.
My radio career goes way back to 2006 in the gorgeous Spanish village of San Miguel de Salinas, Alicante. Here, I found my second home and also presented an English show on Radio San Miguel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I then went on to present on Tower FM in Spain until returning to my home town in Manchester, UK. Here I continued to develop my radio career at North Manchester FM and FAB Radio
International.
 

2020 was spent in lockdown and during this uncertain time I decided to present a daily internet breakfast show live from my living room “Lockdown Radio”. This maintained my focus and sanity and provided much-needed community spirit, fun, interaction, competitions, and was a hub for entertainment. “Lockdown Radio” is locked firmly in my heart and memory and I will cherish those memories though there were definitely days when it was a challenge and I simply ‘got on with it’ and am so glad I did.

 

I now have my dream job presenting on BIG RADIO SPAIN.  Every weekday morning from 7-10am Spanish Time.  

I will DJ wherever there is an opportunity and when anyone wants to hear some great music. I will spin those tunes for private parties, pubs, clubs, festivals & am a highly-skilled support DJ giving customers great tunes in between live acts to keep that party in full swing. I specialise in 80s music though have been known, on occasion, to change the genre to suit.

Why ‘WeLoveSpainLive’? I am a passionate socialite and am happiest when I am out and about and experiencing all that Manchester and Spain have to offer.
 

I love exploring new or old eateries, social venues, bars, clubs, cafes, restaurants and meeting new people on my journey. I want to experience atmospheres, personalities, menus, ambiance, literally everything on offer and shout about it from the rooftops to encourage our followers to explore and enjoy similar experiences for themselves.

 

I will provide honest reviews with the clear aim to increase custom, following, and footfall and generally create a social a place where people can come for great up to date information about what’s going on where great food and places where followers know they will be safe, well looked after and well fed, watered or entertained – whatever it is they are looking for I want ‘WeLoveSpainLive’ to be the go-to site for up to date and relevant information. I aim to be a trusted partner of many whose aim is to encourage a creative, energetic, community all liking and wanting to explore what [Costa Blanca / Spain] has to offer.

 

The website will be regularly updated via the blog and feedback and these will also be a focus of my weekly radio shows.

In a nutshell, I have an insatiable appetite for life, an open mind and a big open heart.
